Trainee Teacher Spreads Festive Cheer with Christmas Baking Club
One of our trainee teachers has helped to bring some festive cheer to the food preparation and nutrition classroom this term by getting involved in running our Bishop Rawtsorne Christmas Baking Club.
Over the past three weeks, students from Year 7 have rolled up their sleeves to create some delicious festive treats, from chocolate Rocky Road bites to Christmas shortbread biscuits and melting snowman cupcakes.
The club has given students a brilliant opportunity to learn new baking skills, work together, and enjoy cooking up some delicious treats during the festive season. Running the club has also been an invaluable experience for our trainee teacher, helping them to develop their teaching skills and gain confidence in planning an extra-curricular activity and leading a group of students.
